Xaar Hydra Sensor Manifold - XP10100067

This sensor manifold controls the pumps used by the Xaar Hydra recirculation ink system.

The Xaar Hydra RISS creates a pressure differential across a printhead using pumps in the supply and return fluid paths.

The difference in pressure between the inlet and outlet of the manifold determines the fluid flow rate, while the average pressure, again between the inlet and the outlet, determines the meniscus (or nozzle) pressure.

This sensor manifold is connected above one of the printhead.
